Aims and Scope

The aims of the "Mechanics and Technologies" journal is to publish and disseminate among the domestic and foreign scientific community the results of relevant theoretical and experimental research on the problems of modern Mechanics (solid аnd friable body, soils, liquids аnd gaseous mechanics), Food Technology and Engineering, Light Industry Technologies, Transportation Technologies, Construction Technologies, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Technologies, Environmental Technologies, Reclamation аnd Irrigation Technologies, Information аnd Communication Technologies.

The mentioned aims are achieved based on the following main objectives:

- registration of the "Mechanics and Technologies" journal in the Information Committee of the Ministry of Information and Community Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and obtaining a certificate of registration as a periodical;

- inclusion of the journal in the international database of periodicals and obtaining ISSN, е-ISSN;

- publication of new theoretical and experimental results of actual research by domestic and foreign scientists, specialists, undergraduates, and doctoral students in the Kazakh and foreign languages;

- adhere to the ethical principles established by COPE in publishing articles and editorial processes;

- assigning a DOI index for each published article and registering in Crossref;

- involvement of Russian, German, Czech, Belarussian, Uzbek recognized experts and other countries of the near and far abroad in the journal’s editorial board and peer-reviewing of the articles;

- distribution of the journal in international information resources and the Kazakh citation database;

- inclusion of the journal in the 2-list of periodicals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Science and High Education of the MSHE RK;

- ensuring the journal compliance with the requirements of the basic publishing standards GOST 7.5-98 “Journals, collections, information publications. Publishing design of published materials” and GOST 7.1-2003 “Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules for drawing up "and order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 20 (adopted on January 12, 2016);

- registration of the subscription index in Kazpost JSC to distribute the journal;

- formation and support of the information transparency of the journal based on the website on Kazakh, Russian, and English versions and its content updating;

- use of the Open Journal Systems (OJS) system to digitize articles accepting and reviewing process for the journal;

- checking published articles for illegal borrowings to ensure their originality;

- high-quality review of submissions with the involvement of recognized experts;

- regular coverage of the scientific activities of the anniversary celebrants from among the authors of the journal.

Implementing the above objectives will contribute to improving the journal's image and forming its place among modern scientific periodicals.
